Apprenticeship Coach (Mechanical Engineering)

First Military Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading International Defence business to recruit an Apprenticeship Coach (Mechanical Engineering) for a 12-month contract. This role is fully remote, with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess learner work and activities, providing feedback and completing relevant paperwork for the induction process.
  • Deliver training for underpinning knowledge to support learners' successful completion of units towards their Apprenticeship Programme.
  • Conduct training/coaching reviews with learners at intervals, adhering to ESFA and company guidelines.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork for the apprenticeship process, ensuring details are passed on to administration and relevant company offices.
Requirements:
  • Considerable experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic fields.
  • Lesson planning and preparation skills.
  • Ability to deliver training to learners, if required.
  • Good understanding of Equality & Diversity.
  • Excellent admin and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Level 3 Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of GCSE Maths and English at grade C, or equivalent.
