C&B Recruitment is representing a reputable Main Dealer seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to strengthen our aftersales team.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a respected automotive retailer and play a vital role in our aftersales operations.
Applicants must possess comprehensive training and qualifications as an Automotive Vehicle Technician, holding NVQ or City and Guilds Level 3 or higher.
As a Senior Technician, your primary responsibility will be to enhance and uphold training standards in vehicle mechanics and electronics to proficiently service and repair vehicles.
Continuous Training and Development:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing technical expertise to efficiently service and repair customer vehicles, performing checks and maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Accurately documenting all chargeable labor, components, and consumables on the job card, striving to meet manufacturer servicing and repair timelines.
- Collaborating with Service Receptionists, Service Managers, and Parts Advisors regarding necessary repairs and parts, providing essential information and time estimates for effective warranty processing.
- Managing the use of materials, tools, and consumables to minimize waste.
- Maintaining comprehensive service and repair records.
- Possessing MOT Tester qualifications would be advantageous, although it is essential to maintain the highest quality standards in your work.
Previous experience in the automotive trade as a Technician is crucial. Candidates must be residents of the UK and possess the necessary documentation. A full valid driving license is also required.
We offer an attractive remuneration package, with starting salaries from £38,000 per annum, plus bonuses and incentives. The working week is Monday to Friday, providing excellent earning potential.
