Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Omnicom, Southwark

Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

Job Summary:

To undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment/building fabric within a corporate service environment. As an integrated member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of all associated MEP assets within the critical facility, with a primary focus on critical facilities risk management, enhancing the quality of the service delivery through effective technical engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Effectively undertake electrical reactive and corrective tasks on associated electrical systems
  2. Liaise with the supply chain, when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works
  3. Proactively attend nominated training courses as identified by INTEGRAL management in line with the account training matrix
  4. Complete all responsibilities in line with the site-based MEP responsibilities matrix
  5. Alarm Response and Escalations for all critical alarms when on duty
  6. Active participation in the site ONWH escalation and support of the 24/7 operation (On-Call)
  7. Escalation of Specialist Vendor performance issues, detailing accurately the areas of performance concerns
  8. Collaboratively working as a key member of the account-based engineering team
  9. Operate all MEP systems within the facility in a competent, effective, and efficient manner. Making recommendations for improvement and providing concise technical reports when required
  10. Ensure that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed effectively, and the quality of their work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Duty Shift Leader/Engineering Manager
  11. To provide backup as engineering shift relief cover in the event of annual leave, training, or other absence within the engineering team
  12. Contribution and highlighting engineering risk and reporting on critical systems availability daily
  13. Attend Weekly Team meetings and Quarterly Team Meetings when scheduled
  14. Maintaining site spares, including auditing of stock levels. Procuring spares from suppliers if required
  15. Support the compilation of critical incident & near miss reporting and after-action reviews
  16. Reviewing and preparing MOP's, SOP's, and EOP's, as well as proactive participation through relevant EOP scenario drills (BEST or MOCK Drills)
  17. Actively contribute to continuous improvement of safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures. Including TBT's and Near Miss/Good Catch Reporting
  18. Maintain minimum levels of resourcing, arranging suitable cover for any annual leave. In line with account procedures
  19. Liaise with the supply chain, when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works
  20. Undertake Site Specific Technical Assessments/General Technical Assessments & Skills Gap Analysis at intervals defined by INTEGRAL/JLL/Omnicom
  21. Take ownership of areas (including all plant rooms) under INTEGRAL control, ensuring they are brought up to and maintained to the required show site standards
  22. Evaluate and escalate any potential risks, with an assessment of impact, probable causes, and mitigation opportunities
  23. Complete Reactive, Planned & Corrective Work Orders in line with SFG20/NGM and ensure reliability of assets through excellent standards of maintenance delivery
  24. Accurate completion of all Corrigo Work Orders that have been allocated for completion by the CMMS. Including accurate capture of time spent on tasks and clear/concise details of works undertaken. With no errors input onto the system
  25. Efficient and Effective completion of Corrigo Work Orders that have been allocated, ensuring that Work Orders have been acknowledged and completed within SLA
Personal Specification:
  1. Relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Corporate Banking/Data Centres or Similar
  2. C&G / NVQ in Electrical Engineering / apprenticeship or similar
  3. C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds
  4. 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation
  5. C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing and
  6. IPAF (Combined) (Desirable)
  7. L8 Awareness Training (Desirable)
  8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff/management/customers
  9. Enthusiasm and Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation
  10. Have good IT and report writing skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
  11. Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints
  12. Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training, this may require nights away from home due to the nature of the specialist training such as Mechanical Authorised Person Training
  13. A high level of initiative, with drive to continuously improve the operation
  14. A smart presentable professional appearance, Integrity, honesty and punctuality is also expected
  15. Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions
