Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to work with vulnerable adults in our community. The successful candidate will have a relevant social work qualification, knowledge of the legislative framework and legal proceedings that govern adult services, and excellent IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
- Work with service users to create care and support plans that meet their needs.
- Collaborate with other teams and professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide person-centered support to vulnerable adults, promoting their independence and well-being.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Experience of working in social care, managing a varied caseload, and knowledge of Safeguarding Adults policies and issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting.
