Job Title: Educational Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Assistant to join our team at Spring Grove JIN School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a range of additional needs.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the SENDCO and class teachers to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with varying levels of need.
  • Assist with personal and intimate care for small numbers of children.
  • Ensure all children can access the curriculum and participate in learning activities.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Behaviour Plans, IEPs, MSPs, and EHCPs.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of how children learn and commitment to inclusive practices.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Warm and nurturing approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to model positive behavior and promote a supportive learning environment.
