About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality audit fieldwork, ensuring budgets and deadlines are met
  • Preparation of financial statements, ensuring quality and compliance throughout
  • Review work completed by junior staff to provide constructive feedback
  • Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Manage own workload and regularly update managers with work progress
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed
