Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team as a Senior / Principal Ecologist - Bat Technical Specialist. This role will involve working on mitigation licensed projects and collaborating with a supportive team to advance your career in bat conservation and ecology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys and assessments to identify bat populations and habitats.
  • Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on bat populations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Ecology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bat conservation and ecology.
  • Natural England Class 2 or above bat license.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and licensing requirements.
