Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team at Winemark. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including wine and spirits, to effectively communicate with customers and make recommendations.
  • Assist with sales, stock control, and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Three months previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to actively sell to customers and maintain a professional level of customer service at all times.
  • Personal drive and a pleasant, positive, and enthusiastic attitude, demonstrating an appropriate level of motivation.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • WSET Foundation Certificate.
  • Previous experience of cash handling and stock control.
  • Interest and/or knowledge of wine.
