Job Title: Car Paint Sprayer
Job Description:
Challender Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Car Paint Sprayer to join our team at our Accident Repair Centre. As a Car Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting the expectations of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing vehicles for refinishing by cleaning and masking areas not to be painted
- Mixing and matching paint to vehicle manufacturer's specifications
- Applying paint to vehicles in accordance with quality standards and industry best practices
- Ensuring the paint finish is smooth and meets customer expectations
- Identifying and repairing paint defects and imperfections
- Keeping work area clean and tidy, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
- Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Car Paint Sprayer in an Accident Repair Centre or similar environment
- Knowledge of automotive paint mixing and application techniques, including colour matching and finishing
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- A valid driving licence and ability to travel to client sites as required
