Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing safety data, conducting literature reviews, and processing adverse event reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Data Management
  • Review and analyze safety data from various sources, including spontaneous reports, literature sources, and regulatory authorities.
• Literature Review
  • Conduct systematic reviews of safety information published in the scientific literature.
• Case Processing
  • Process and assess individual case safety reports (ICSRs) and enter data into the safety database.
• Signal Management
  • Detect, assess, and recommend actions for potential safety signals.
• Risk Management and Minimization
  • Develop and maintain risk management plans and implement risk minimization activities.
• Aggregate Safety Reports
  • Author and review aggregate safety reports, including periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and periodic benefit-risk evaluation reports (PBRERs).

Requirements

• Education
  • A degree in the biological or biomedical sciences.
• Experience
  • Relevant experience in pharmacovigilance and medication/patient safety.
• Skills
  • Excellent communication and medical writing skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
