The Financial Controller, an exemplary team leader, emphasizes the importance of team welfare, making this an ideal time to contribute to the organization’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Manager:

  • Thorough review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure clarity and follow-up actions with finance team members to resolve outstanding discrepancies.
  • Supervise the bank matching and monthly reconciliation processes conducted by the finance team.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for both audited and audit-exempt entities.
  • Compile tax packs.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to lead the year-end financial audit.
  • Engage with external auditors to address queries and secure sign-off.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets, a five-year plan, and periodic forecasts.
  • Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting and data requests.
  • Work alongside the FD and FC to create and implement effective financial controls, ensuring compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional tasks and act on behalf of the Financial Controller as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile for the Financial Reporting Manager Role:

  • Proven experience in overseeing financial governance.
  • Expertise in implementing control frameworks and guidelines.
  • Experience in completing balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Qualified accountants from industry, practice, or QBE are encouraged to apply.
  • A collaborative mindset.
