Senior Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the development of our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert generalist care within the primary care setting, including Public Health Nursing and First Contact nursing for adults and children.
- Provide specialist care for chronic disease management, working autonomously in the prison premises to coordinate the care needs of patients.
- Delegate duties to junior staff, as appropriate, and support their continuing professional development.
- Utilize counselling skills, such as empathy and listening, when informed consent is required, particularly from vulnerable adults and those with special needs and learning difficulties.

Requirements- Experience as a general nurse.
- Degree in nursing.
- Experience of working in a secure setting.
