Job Title: Skilled Factory Operative

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to undertake routine production tasks, including assembly activities, material preparation, and equipment installation.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Cutting timber or metal wall panels, roof cassettes, and associated project kits
  • Assembling and preparing materials for dispatch in our static factory facilities
  • Working effectively as part of a multi-functional team, respecting alternative professional skills and opinions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in carpentry or a trade background
  • Positive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively without close supervision
  • Able to drive and work the hours of 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with no overtime
  • Able to work CIS
  • NVQ 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Own tools, including a hammer, soft mallet, nail bars, hand screwdrivers, socket sets, squares, builders' squares, chisels (rough and good), and general hand tooling

As a Skilled Factory Operative at ARV Solutions Contracts, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company, with a competitive hourly rate of £21.00 (CIS only) and a 40-hour working week.
