About the Role

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. As a leading recruitment agency, they are committed to delivering exceptional results for their clients and candidates.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, and expanding the company's customer base. This role will report to the Head of Business Development and will work collaboratively across the organization, teams, stakeholders, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base
  • Develop sales materials and marketing collateral in collaboration with the team and marketing department
  • Build and manage existing client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales and revenue generation goals
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Business Development team, support joint projects, and provide assistance when required
  • Provide clear pipeline information and sales reporting to Senior Management
  • Support with marketing plans and strategies, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns as required

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience of developing and delivering new business revenue in the recruitment industry
