Job Title: SEN Teacher - Alternative Provision

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Northamptonshire

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our alternative provision in Northamptonshire. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education, helping them to develop confidence, skills, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
  • Deliver creative, child-centred lessons that cater to individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide a holistic approach to education
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and nurturing school environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Knowledge of alternative provision frameworks and experience delivering creative lessons
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
