Milk Education is seeking highly motivated and dedicated graduates to join our team as Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistants. As a Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require both academic and pastoral support to ensure they reach their expected levels of progress.

About the Role

We are looking for graduates who have a passion for working with young people and have aspirations to work in education or become a future teacher. As a Graduate SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing tailored intervention sessions and supporting class teachers in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students who require additional help
  • Work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis to deliver tailored intervention sessions
  • Support class teachers in the classroom to ensure students receive the support they need
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff
Requirements
  • Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
  • Previous experience of working with SEND children would be beneficial but not essential
  • Clear desire to work with young people and become a teacher in the future
  • Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
  • Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
