Senior Architect Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to work on a range of exciting residential and student accommodation projects as part of an award-winning team. Our client is open in terms of the successful Senior Architect's background / experience but all applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' UK experience as well as a good knowledge of Revit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with Revit on a daily basis to deliver high-quality designs and documentation
  • Leading projects from planning stage through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations
  • Preparing and producing technical bid and tender documents, liaising with clients and other consultants to develop designs and prepare documentation for tender purposes
  • Creating engaging designs that exceed the project brief, working independently as well as in a team throughout all RIBA Stages
  • Helping more junior members of the team to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years post Part-III RIBA, recently qualified ARB or equivalent with UK on-site construction experience essential
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload of medium to large-scale projects, with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and excellent knowledge of Revit
  • Commercially aware, responsible and reliable, with experience of preparing and presenting design proposals to the client
  • Willing to take responsibility and able to use own initiative, capable of liaising confidently with clients and consultants and developing those professional relationships
