DT Technician

We are seeking a skilled DT Technician to join our team at a secondary school in Brent, North West London.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare materials and equipment for lessons and projects, including preparation of demonstration materials and resources.
- Ensure all students' work and unused material is returned to the appropriate storage area.
- Maintain a tidy kitchen environment and ensure cloths and aprons are clean.
- Assist departmental staff in developing resources for teaching and learning, including preparation for exams.
- Demonstrate methods and techniques to students during lessons, as requested by staff.
- Support exhibitions and the curating of work for GCSE and A Level.
- Provide technical assistance to pupils during lessons and private study sessions.
- Be responsible for DT departmental displays and the preparation, mounting, and installation of work around the school.
- Support GCSE and A level students with their coursework outside lesson times.
- Location: Brent, North West London.
- Position: DT Technician.
- Contract type: Permanent.
- Full time/part time: Full time.
- Hours: 8:00 am - 4pm.
