Key Responsibilities- Commercial Performance Review: Conduct thorough reviews of commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing data-driven insights to drive business growth.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Operations Officer and other key decision-makers.
- Financial Modelling and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate financial models and analysis to support business decisions and drive operational excellence.
- Operational Cost Management: Analyze and optimize operational costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing effective solutions.
- Reporting and Presentations: Provide regular reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders, including monthly board reports and quarterly analysis.
- KPI Development and Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and drive improvement.
- Business Planning and Budgeting: Develop and maintain business plans, budgets, and forecasts, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of investment requests, ensuring that they align with business objectives and provide a strong return on investment.
- Financial Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and training to business stakeholders on financial management and analysis, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to drive business growth.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the firm's central finance teams, including the Finance Director, FP&A Manager, and Group Financial Controller, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Commercial Manager Support: Collaborate with other commercial managers to share knowledge, best practices, and support each other in driving business growth.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong understanding of financial management and analysis.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with a commercial mindset and a strong track record of driving business growth.
- Skills: Intermediate-level Excel skills, with the ability to create complex financial models and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, credibility, and manage expectations with senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
