Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of stock from Goods In to Goods Out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all trained chill and/or ambient warehouse duties assigned to enable the efficient movement of stock.
- Ensure all warehouse duties are carried out efficiently, accurately, and safely to provide a high standard of delivery to customers.
- Be flexible and assist in all areas of the warehouse once trained.
- Safely operate all equipment once trained to do so.
- Always adhere to safe manual handling techniques.
- Report any personal injury, accident, or damage to equipment, machinery, or premises or stock.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience of 1 year plus desirable, but training will be given to the right candidates.
- Excellent work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of warehousing and distribution.
- Able to embrace and adapt with change and accept accountability.
- Has common sense and is self-motivated with a 'can do attitude'.
- Has obtained a good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
