At Amazon, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Academic and Operations Officer, you'll play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve operational targets.
  • Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance.
  • Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security, to drive site performance.
  • Design and deliver initiatives to enhance operational performance across sites.
A Day in the Life:

You'll lead shifts at one of our operational sites, working closely with various teams to drive performance and excellence. Your day will involve meetings, performance analysis, and mentoring your team to achieve operational targets.

Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language.
  • Experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as working with the MS Office suite in a professional environment.
