Job Summary

Comanos, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading land acquisition programs, identifying and securing land rights for solar, energy storage, and wind projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement land acquisition strategies to grow a portfolio of large-scale solar, BESS, and wind projects.
  • Negotiate and secure land rights for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including site acquisition, development, grid project management, commercial, and legal teams.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, and tender processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits, update site reports, and meet with landowners and development consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure land strategy aligns with business objectives and manage legal support in preparation for and to establish land agreements.

Requirements:

  • RICS/MRICS qualification
  • Experience working on ground mount solar PV and BESS projects, with knowledge of planning and consenting processes.
  • Proven track record in executing successful land campaigns in different markets with different types of landowners.
  • Strong network of clients and projects previously worked on.
  • Knowledge of GIS or other spatial environmental and planning software systems.
