About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Worker to join our team at Falkland House School Perth. As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our young people, aged 16-19, who are working towards greater independent living.

Our school is focused on providing a person-centred approach to education and support, looking at the full needs of each individual and adapting our approach accordingly. We are part of the Options Autism, a national provider of specialist education, care and therapeutic services for individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the young people with their independent living, working with them to develop their skills and establish healthy routines.
  • Create a safe, quiet environment for the individuals through the night, responding to any needs in a calm, therapeutic manner.
  • Work as part of an incredible team sharing knowledge and learning to ensure an outstanding, holistic approach.
  • Support the occupants at the end and beginning of their days, using a calm, reliable approach that builds trust and confidence.
