Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide breakdown cover on automated fast-moving equipment
  • Service and repair production equipment in line with FMCG policies and safe working procedures
  • Continuous improvement of equipment
  • Day-to-day attention to electrical/mechanical breakdowns and changeovers
  • Finding the root cause of any production problems and finding ways to prevent the problems happening again
  • Electrical fault-finding
  • Safe installation of machinery and control panels

Requirements

  • Experience within a manufacturing or production industry essential
  • Electrical or mechanical ability essential
  • PLC knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Formal qualifications to NVQ, C&G or ONC
  • Time served electrical apprenticeship advantageous
