Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Lawyer to join the growing team.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice on commercial matters to a varied client base.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including Terms & Conditions, distribution agreements, and IT contracts.
  • Advise start-up businesses on legal structures, funding, and intellectual property issues.
  • Support charities with legal and regulatory compliance, governance issues, and commercial transactions.
  • Assist small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and privately owned businesses with their legal needs, from company formation to commercial dispute resolution.
  • Manage relationships with multinational corporations, ensuring compliance with UK law and facilitating international transactions.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and legal best practices relevant to commercial law.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law.
  • Extensive experience in handling a diverse range of commercial legal matters.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide pragmatic legal advice.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of clients.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in advising start-ups, charities, and SMEs is highly desirable.
  • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
