Job Description

Role Summary:

This is a key role within the Programme and Project Management Community, reporting to the Utilities Programme Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple Utilities engagements, diversionary works designs, and their construction phasing at Tempsford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and coordinate with Utilities companies (notably NGET, Anglian Water, UKPN, Openreach, Cadent Gas) for the Tempsford area of the EWR Core route (CS3)
  • Work with the EWR Design teams to establish key Utilities diversionary works designs
  • Coordinate with EWR Area Project Managers to ensure seamless delivery
  • Establish the sequencing programme of how Utilities works will be coordinated and phased
  • Interface with critical 3rd party stakeholders (notably National Highways and Network Rail)
  • Establish the critical path for the Utility programme of work
  • Work with the planner resource to establish and present high-level logistical planning for Utilities works
  • Support the wider EWR Utilities Team
  • Report and escalate matters where necessary
  • Manage contractual (early) Utilities service provisions (feasibility studies, design delivery, planning, etc)
  • Foster an innovative mindset by proactively seeking and implementing creative solutions to challenges

Requirements:

  • Sound working knowledge of the Utilities sectors
  • Design and programme coordination skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environments
  • Resilience and ability to bounce back from setbacks
  • Proficient in navigating change and periods of transformation

Education and Qualifications:

  • CDM 2015 training
