We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Elite Care Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care for children and young people in a residential home setting.
- Lead shifts and manage a staff team to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Ensure the home is well-maintained, including cooking and cleaning, and prioritize safeguarding welfare at all times.
- Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- 4 years' experience in residential care, including working with young people who have challenging behaviors.
- Experience of leading shifts and being designated in charge in the absence of the Manager.
- Experience of supervising care staff and ability to work to a rota, including days, sleep-ins, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- A full UK Manual driving license.
