Windows Automation Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Windows Automation Consultant to join our team at Next Ventures. Our client is a global brand that specializes in building bespoke IT solutions for clients across multiple industries.

As a Windows Automation Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure automation solutions, applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, and working alongside colleagues to implement correct principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop infrastructure automation solutions using Windows OS, infrastructure automation, and automation scripting/tools.
  • Apply IaC practices to ensure efficient and scalable infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions.
  • Develop and manage automation scripts/tools using Packer, Ansible, and other similar tools.
  • Maintain and optimize the Windows server environment.
  • Influence technical direction and provide support to junior colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Completed Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
  • Strong experience as a DevOps/Automation Engineer.
  • Expert in Windows server environments (2019, 2022).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and methodologies are part of your expertise.
  • Knowledge of automation scripting/tools such as Packer, Ansible.
  • Strong team work ethic and ability to work closely with colleagues to manage and achieve deadlines.

This is a high-priority role due to the start of a new, exciting, and long-term project. You will be a key influencer within the project, and your experience within Windows/DevOps & Automation will be the necessary addition to achieve success.
