Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse wagon and collecting domestic waste in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a refuse wagon and collect domestic waste in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work as part of a team to ensure timely and effective waste collection
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and clients

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • A HGV Class C entitlement
  • A valid CPC card
  • A valid Digi Tacho card
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.18 for the first 8 hours, with time and a half for hours worked thereafter. This rate will increase to £14.21 after a probationary period.
