We are currently seeking a Residential Property Risk Assessor to join our team. We offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
This position is primarily home-based, although travel will be required for work purposes, predominantly across Southern England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with Legal & General Surveying Services and other panel surveyors while adhering to risk management protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Delivering a top-tier Quality Assurance offering for lenders and valuers.
- Conducting reviews and audits of processes to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- Providing expert knowledge and insights in areas such as Lenders, New Build, Buy-to-Let, and High Value properties.
- Assisting the PII and Complaints Team.
- Visiting sites to conduct valuation, survey, and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Membership as a Fellow, Member, or Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Experience in conducting valuations and surveys within the residential mortgage sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of RICS Red Book requirements, including Guidance Notes and Practice Statements.
- The ability to interpret risk-related information and present findings effectively, both verbally and in written reports to stakeholders.
