About the Role

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer. This is a term-time, full-time position based at Strodes, offering a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working closely with external agencies and attending meetings on behalf of the college.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding leaders to promote student wellbeing and a positive mindset, contributing to the administration of behaviour management procedures and assisting in implementing an effective wellbeing strategy for staff and students.
  • Manage a caseload of students with varying support requirements, making referrals and taking on the role of designated safeguarding officer on a rota basis.
  • Represent the college at external multi-agency meetings and provide front-line wellbeing support for students.
  • Collect and report data on safeguarding, wellbeing, and student participation, maintaining clear communication and consistency of approach with other safeguarding teams.

Working with Us

As a member of the Student Services team, you will assist with general enquiries, support incidents and emergencies, and contribute to the smooth running of the college campuses. You will also play a role in organizing cross-college events, special projects for students, and maintaining positive links with community and third sector providers.
