Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing strategic and professional leadership in the implementation of the SECURE STAIRS framework for integrated care within the AWP Health and Wellbeing service for Young People at Vinney Green Secure Children's Home.

You will lead the health and wellbeing team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care tailored to the needs of young people, collaborating with local and national stakeholders to ensure fidelity to the model of care and effective service delivery.

Maintain a national profile and contribute to the Professional Collaborative Network for the children's secure estate, while facilitating culture change and closer collaboration between teams locally and nationally.

Work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to meet the holistic needs of the young people, providing supervision and support to team members, fostering a psychologically informed care environment across all staff within the home.

Requirements
  • Advanced expertise in clinical supervision with all grades of staff and with other professions.
  • Management training/qualification.
