Job Title: Birmingham Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to work with children in Birmingham and surrounding areas. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and help them achieve their academic goals.

About the Role

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. You will be working with children who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC). Your role will involve providing educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space, such as a library or community centre.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver educational sessions to meet the needs of individual children
  • Develop and implement behaviour strategies to support children's learning
  • Build effective working relationships with children and their families
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
