About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated KS1 SEN Class Teacher to join our team at The Smallberry Green Primary School. As a KS1 SEN Class Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with special educational needs in our ASD Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students with special educational needs in a KS1 setting
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Assess and record student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with experience of teaching students with special educational needs
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and special educational needs legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
