**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Architect to join our team as a Principal / Senior Architect / NZC Consultant. As a key member of our NZC team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering NZC advice and low energy / carbon solutions in architectural and multi-disciplinary projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver NZC advice and low energy / carbon solutions in architectural and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Work with our established NZC team to develop new clients and opportunities and win tenders
  • Develop and implement new NZC design, modelling and reporting methodologies to complement our existing methods and working practices
  • Provide expertise and knowledge to facilitate the delivery of climate resistant, low energy buildings
  • Run Net Zero Workshops and model and report on Whole Life, Embodied and Operational Carbon using tools such as LCA One Click Software and PassivHaus PHPP
  • Support winning new opportunities primarily in the public sector, working with Studio staff as well as other disciplines

**Requirements**

  • ARB registered Architect with knowledge and experience in the design and assessment of a wide range of buildings and facilities from inception to completion
  • Proven track record of the delivery of low energy buildings and or retrofit projects
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of an established team
  • Experience in technical detailing with a particular focus on thermal bridging and air tightness
  • Proficient in the use of REVIT
  • Desirable experience of using One Click LCA and PassivHaus PHPP
