About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Designer to join our team at Premier Group Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional furniture designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Use CAD software to create concept designs and produce technical drawings for furniture products.
  • Communication: Collaborate with clients to determine design requirements and specifications.
  • Manufacturing Liaison: Work with manufacturing providers to ensure timely and efficient production of furniture products.
  • Quality Control: Check drawings for sign off and ensure that all designs meet the required standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to develop and implement design solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree qualified in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Experienced working with metal, wood, and extruded materials.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, organized, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
