Crane Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Crane Engineer to join our team at Speedy Hire Plc. As a Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring they are safe to use and meet legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists
  • Understand LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Perform frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists
Requirements:
  • NVQ3, HNC, HND, or C&G electrical engineering qualification
  • Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
  • Current UK driving licence
