Elementary School Support Assistant

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join our team in an elementary school setting. This position involves working closely with students who require additional assistance due to various learning needs, including but not limited to ADHD, developmental delays, dyslexia, and autism spectrum conditions. The successful candidate will engage with children across different abilities and year groups, specifically from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time role during term time.
  • Assist with lesson preparation, providing support in literacy and numeracy, and working with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
  • Demonstrate confidence in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Exhibit a compassionate and understanding demeanor.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards education and learning.
  • Be dependable and consistent in your approach.

Candidate Requirements:
