Job Summary

The Culina Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Manager to lead our production team at Minworth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, meeting commercial targets, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage production lines and labor to meet planned volume and commercial targets, and in accordance with QA and safety standards.
  • Effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets and promote a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Ensure the final product meets client specifications and quality standards.
  • Maximize production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
  • Effectively use the integrated management system (Vision) to monitor and control production processes.
  • Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Quality regulations.
  • Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external.
  • Ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to.
  • Liaise with agency controllers on a day-to-day basis, providing feedback regarding agency workers.
  • Attend team leader meetings and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Assist in the training and development of new starters and act as a role model for best practice.
  • Monitor, control, and minimize waste.
  • Play an active part in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct RTW and disciplinary interviews as required.
  • Participate in the company's appraisal system.
  • Drive own personal development through training and work-based experience.
  • Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.
