About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Social Media Editor to join our team. As a Social Media Editor, you will be responsible for reshaping our existing content for social media platforms, working closely with the video and social team to create engaging content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. You will prioritize and work efficiently to meet the needs of our social media channels.

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work. Please note that this is an initial 3-month contract position.

The Role
  • Identify key clips for social media
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices
  • Work with the team to obtain necessary assets
  • Export and track edits
  • Collaborate with the social team and management to prioritize edits
Required Skills
  • Mid-weight knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Understanding of social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube
  • Knowledge of video codecs and file formats for social media
  • Basic understanding of file servers and NAS
  • Understanding of how content is consumed and distributed in a digital context
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow strict workflow and procedures
  • Experience with QCing different media formats
  • Enthusiasm for both editing and learning new formats
  • Mac user
  • Good team player
