  • Design and execute sub-category line-ups tailored to local market demands to achieve ambitious growth objectives.
  • Partner with logistics and finance teams to ensure accurate cost assessments are integrated into product commercial strategies.
  • Utilize both internal and external data to inform strategic product decisions and drive performance.
  • Collaborate with regional product managers to monitor and manage product KPIs, focusing on SKU productivity and category sales.
  • Work alongside the sales team to implement product strategies that align with MUK's channelization approach, providing necessary support and insights.
  • Assist MUK's marketing team and Midea Group's marketing divisions to develop marketing materials that meet UK market standards.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape for your assigned product categories.
  • Develop a robust knowledge base of competitors and their strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the customer base and devise clear strategies to enhance Midea's market share.
  • Leverage market insights to collaborate with the sales team in creating new business avenues.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for your categories, building credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Explore and evaluate all viable product options to broaden business opportunities.
  • Implement initiatives in line with business planning to ensure the achievement of budgeted sales and profit targets for each category.
  • Deliver timely and insightful reports on product performance to guide strategic direction.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and identify potential new business opportunities.
  • Manage ongoing product enhancements to improve user experience.

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in consumer electronics product management, preferably within the MDA sector.
  • Experience collaborating with OEM/OBM manufacturers.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data (sales figures, margins, pricing, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in product and promotional category management.
  • Understanding of key drivers influencing category P&L.
  • Experience working with international factories and within larger matrix organizations, as well as with external partners and agencies.
  • History of meeting budgets and business plans, showcasing strong financial acumen.
  • Skilled in relationship building, with the ability to gain trust and respect from internal and external clients.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Adept at critical thinking and problem-solving.
