Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Data Coordinator to join our team at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Cataracts and External service team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of data entry and quality across all services.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Data Entry and Quality Assurance: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into various IT systems, maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to service guidelines and standards.
  2. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including responding to telephone enquiries from patients and staff, filing letters and reports, and assessing patient eligibility for NHS treatment.
  3. Training and Development: Participate in the induction and training of new members of staff, sharing knowledge and expertise of administrative processes and functions.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistent and effective service delivery during periods of annual leave or sickness.
  5. Professional Development: Attend mandatory training and development opportunities to ensure compliance with the Trust Mandatory Training Framework.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths to GCSE A-C), or equivalent qualifications.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in the use of MS Office IT software packages (e.g. MS Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge and Awareness: Appreciation and awareness of the data protection act.
