Job Title: Cyber Security Architect Lead
Job Summary:
NCC Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Architect Lead to lead the review, design and implementation of our estate from a security perspective. As a Cyber Security Architect Lead, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust security posture across our organisation, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate the current state of our systems and networks, identifying security concerns and developing a comprehensive picture of our company assets.
- Plan and design security architecture improvements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on secure system design, collaborating with the security team and other stakeholders to ensure the secure implementation of new systems and interfaces.
- Define and document the security impact of new system implementations, ensuring the security posture of our environment is maintained.
- Contribute to the improvement of our cyber health, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Travel to NCC Group office locations globally, as required, and be willing to stay away from home on occasion.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of IT risks, cyber security, and computer operating software.
- Proven experience in writing architecture documentation, including knowledge of various endpoint technologies, hypervisors, and guest server operating systems.
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise in security architecture, including experience with threat modelling and adaptation of architecture frameworks.
- Knowledge of protective monitoring, SIEM, and SOAR technologies.
- Experience with modelling languages and frameworks, such as Archimate.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking, technical expertise, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
