Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ayrshire

Salary: £49k plus shift allowances and overtime

Job Overview

Nine Twenty is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their fast-paced maintenance team in Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a Global manufacturing organisation with a strong focus on innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, repairs, and new installation work on a wide range of equipment, services, systems, and buildings associated with the running of a large manufacturing site.
  2. Adhere to and promote stringent HSE and standard company practices.
  3. Conduct daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  4. Carry out fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations to minimize downtime.
  5. Perform planned preventative maintenance on production machinery, including extruders and site services.
  6. Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently, while maintaining PPM schedules.
  7. Perform maintenance tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager, ensuring all activities are in accordance with Berry Bpi's policies and procedures.
  8. Respond promptly to unplanned maintenance issues or repairs to ensure minimum downtime.
  9. Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
