About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Arboriculture Team Leader to join our Grounds Maintenance Team at Liberty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of arborists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality arboriculture services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of arborists in the delivery of arboriculture services, ensuring compliance with British Standard 3998:2010 Treework and recommendations.
  • Undertake arboriculture maintenance work, observing good arboriculture practice and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Supervise the arboriculture team, agency works, and apprentices in the absence of the Lead Arborist.
  • Be an integral part of the team providing a comprehensive arboriculture service, including general maintenance of tree stocks and undertaking arboriculture works to ensure healthy and safe tree stock.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, productivity, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant NPTC qualifications and experience in arboriculture.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Knowledge of British Standard 3998:2010 Treework and recommendations.
