Job Title: Test Rig Designer

We are seeking a skilled Test Rig Designer to join our team at Leonardo Helicopters. As a Test Rig Designer, you will be responsible for designing test rigs required for the strength substantiation of Aircraft components from concept to detail design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test rigs using CATIA V5 software
  • Select and specify commercial hydraulic actuators and loading systems
  • Perform stress calculations to ensure adequate strength margins
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy in the Test Laboratory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver test rig designs
Requirements:
  • Experience in CAD design with CATIA V5 or similar software
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical testing
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
