Job Summary

This role involves reviewing tender documents, identifying potential issues, and pricing and producing tender submissions on first principles. The candidate will produce pricing documents, procurement enquiry packages, and materials schedules from drawings and specifications. You will be in the South of England, so you can get to one of the offices spread across the South of England and out on site. Locations include Hampshire, Sussex, Middlesex & Kent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender documents and identify potential issues
  • Pricing and producing tender submissions on first principles
  • Producing pricing documents, procurement enquiry packages, and materials schedules from drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with clients and consultants as needed
Requirements

Previous experience as an Estimator on infrastructure/civil engineering/utilities in the UK, strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, financial awareness. Familiarity with tendering civil engineering projects and safety and security-critical infrastructure contracts is essential. The candidate must have demonstrable knowledge of CESSM, SMM7, and construction contracts such as NR, NEC, and ICC forms. Proficiency in Excel and estimating software like Causeway is required, along with a technical understanding of civil engineering processes and a proven history of successfully winning various projects.

What We Offer

A competitive salary dependent on experience from £75,000 with a package including 25 days' annual leave, a pension scheme, private healthcare, and a company car or allowance. You would be required to attend meetings in several branches across the South of England and project locations.
