Midwife Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Midwife Specialist to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As an Integrated Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to women and their families throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, woman-centred care to women and their families, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
• Work autonomously to support women in making informed decisions about their care, while also recognizing the need for input from obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.
• Practice in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct, maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for women, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Contribute to the development of the maternity services, maintaining professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices.
