About the Role

We are retained by a fantastic Main Contractor who requires a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to oversee project values circa £500k - £15 million. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety procedures are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly site inspections using the safety culture platform and communicate results to the wider business.
  • Perform pre-start site inspections with project teams and advise on areas of weakness.
  • Assist project teams in completing corrective actions raised during audits and inspections, including chasing responses when necessary.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of Construction Phase Plans as required.
  • Support the works department in producing O&M manuals.
  • Deliver regular monthly communications to the wider company through toolbox talks and safety alerts/briefings.
  • Assist with accident investigations as required.
  • Record and chase incident, near miss, and good catch reports received through the QR system.
  • Assist with RAMS and approve suppliers in the absence of the Health and Safety Manager.
