Cooper Lomaz is collaborating with a regional firm in Norwich to identify a skilled Security Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will join a well-established organization, delivering on-site assistance to their clientele.

Position Overview: In the role of Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of hardware and software at client sites, which includes surveillance systems, fire detection systems, intrusion detection systems, and access control mechanisms. A background in security systems installation, servicing, and maintenance is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client locations to install, maintain, and conduct routine servicing of security systems, including surveillance cameras, fire alarms, intrusion detection systems, and access control mechanisms.
  • Possess experience with associated security software.
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding their products, including servicing and maintenance of the systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar capacity is crucial for this role.
  • BS7858 screening is mandatory for this position.
  • A valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years is required.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, along with clear and effective communication skills.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location:

  • Salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Provision of personal protective equipment and a company vehicle.
  • While the office is situated in Norwich, daily travel to various sites will be necessary where independent work will be performed.
